Concepts, theories, tools, and approaches to the study of literature, with a special focus on developing the interpretive, writing, and research skills of those intending to pursue a major in English.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or better in English 1002 or English 1010 is required for enrollment in English courses that are 2000-level and above; Sophomore Literature
