ULM Career Development works with students and alumni on career readiness and development. From helping students find the right career, to reviewing a resume, to preparing for an interview, to helping create the perfect LinkedIn and Handshake profile, Career Development is available to assist with part-time, full-time, on-campus, and internship employment search and application assistance as well as graduate/professional school application assistance.
Career Development offers a number of events that include various workshops, class presentations, career fairs, a career style show, elevator pitch competitions, JCPenney Suit-Up opportunities, and career week activities throughout the academic year. Career Development also offers a mentorship program for students looking to connect with a career professional in setting goals and working towards building their professional career while also enhancing their college experience.
Career Development works with employers to make them aware of the type and quality of graduates ULM produces and assist them in various ways to recruit ULM students and alumni.
