Note:
To progress satisfactorily, a student must complete all required developmental courses, plus AVIA 1010 and AVIA 1011 , with a grade of “C” or better, before enrolling in 3000- or 4000-level courses. Note:
*Students should see 2020-2021 Undergraduate Core Curriculum requirements.
** As some of the technologies involved with UAS fall under International Traffic in Arms Regulations, students wishing to pursue this degree program must be able to prove United States citizenship prior to enrolling in the following courses: AVIA 2080 , AVIA 3080 , AVIA 4080 , and AVIA 4081 . There are no exceptions to this policy. Students ineligible to take these courses may complete the degree by substituting program defined Applied Elective.
NOTE: The UAS is an emerging industry and under strict control of the FAA. Currently the only agencies allowed to operate UAS are government, state/local government, and qualifying universities.
