• Core English Composition 6 cr.
• Core Math 3 cr. 
• PSYC 2001 - Introduction to Psychology ^cs
• SOCL 1001 - Introduction to Sociology ^cs
• SOCW 1001 - Introduction to Social Work
• SOCW 1002 - Social Welfare as an Institution
• SOCW 2005 - Human Behavior and Social Environment I

Note:

Applications for admission to the professional level social work curriculum must meet the general ULM admission requirements for all majors AND meet the following requirements:

Have a grade of “C” or above in all Pre-Social Work Requirements (24 hrs).

*Students may apply for the major while enrolled in Social Work 2005.

Have earned a GPA of 2.3 in all courses required for the degree.
