POST BACCALAUREATE CERTIFICATE IN UAS MANAGEMENT
This Post Baccalaureate Certificate in UAS Management is designed for individuals who have earned a baccalaureate degree and who are seeking functional competency in UAS (drone) management. The Unmanned Aircraft Systems PBC is offered to those students whose career objectives are aimed at the emerging unmanned aircraft systems industry. The program provides the breadth and depth of instruction needed to ensure graduates are prepared to work as pilots/operators and/or developmental team members of unmanned aircraft systems while fully understanding the operational and safety environments of the National Airspace System. Note: The UAS is an emerging industry and under strict control of the FAA. Currently the only agencies allowed to operate UAS are government, state / local government, and qualifying universities. The program focuses specifically on managing UAS and should not, therefore, be considered as equivalent to the comprehensive aviation degree program offered by ULM.
