Accreditation

The Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The Marriage and Family Therapy M.A. and Ph.D. programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) (with the exception of the non-clinical concentration), and the Marriage and Family Therapy M.A. program is also accredited by CACREP.

Credentials Deadlines

Individuals interested in applying for admission should apply to the Graduate School and also apply to the appropriate program in the Behavioral Sciences Department.

Enrollment is limited and candidates for admission will be required to complete an application packet.

All application materials for the M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling must be on file before the applicant can be reviewed for admission. For the M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, all application material must be received by March 1 to be considered for the fall entering class.
