CHEM 4040 - Medicinal Chemistry

Introduction to the principles and methods of medicinal chemistry, including synthesis of pharmaceutically important compounds, their structure/activity relationships, drug-action, usage and incompatibilities.

Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory.
Prerequisite(s): “C” or better in CHEM 4030 or permission of the instructor.
