MATH 1009 - Applied Algebra for College Students 3 cr.
Emphasis on applications involving: solving equations and inequalities; function properties and graphs; linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions. Recommended for students who will not take MATH 1031 .
Prerequisite(s): MATH ACT 16 or higher. Students with MATH ACT of 16-18 must concurrently enroll in MATH 1000 . Students may not receive credit for both MATH 1009 AND MATH 1011 .
