NURS 3016 - Adult Health Nursing 1 Practicum: LPN to BSN

2 cr.

Graduates from state-approved licensed practical nursing (LPN) programs, who are currently licensed to practice, and have practiced in Louisiana, will be granted two (2) credits in medical-surgical hours in recognition of their license and experience. This experience should focus on safe, patient-centered care for adults with acute and chronic diseases in a variety of settings. Credit for will be awarded upon successful completion of NURS 3015.

Prerequisite(s): NURS 2002, NURS 2004, NURS 2011, NURS 2013, NURS 2080. Credit or registration in NURS 3010, NURS 3011, NURS 3015, current Practical Nurse Licensure in Louisiana and one year of acute or long-term care experience.
