Program Admission

Any graduate, terminal, or professional degree from a college or university accredited and recognized at the institutional level by the US Department of Education (USDOE). 

OR

Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.5 (based on a 4.0 scale) from a college or university accredited and recognized at the institutional level by the US Department of Education (USDOE).  

OR

GPA of 2.5 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework from a college or university accredited and recognized at the institutional level by the US Department of Education (USDOE). 

AND

Minimum of 18 credit hours in behavioral sciences

• MAFT 5015 - Practicum in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling
• MAFT 5063 - Legal and Ethical Issues in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling
• MAFT 6012 - Marriage and Family Therapy II
• MAFT 6063 - Couples, Intimacy, and Sexuality
• MAFT 6066 - Advanced Theory
• MAFT 6070 - Internship (to be repeated until 300 client contact hours is accrued, if wishing to pursue licensure)
