Bachelor Degree Requirements
Special Requirements
- A minimum of 120 semester hours is required for degree.
- Satisfactory completion of all general requirements with a “C” (2.0) grade point average.
- Minimum of “C” (2.0) grade point average is required for all semester hours applied to degree, all courses in Major Thematic Concentration Group, and all 3000 and 4000 level courses.
- 45 hours must be earned at 3000 or 4000 level. 15 of the 45 hours must be earned at 4000 level. 12 of the 45 hours must be in Major Thematic Concentration Group.
- The 2021-2022 Undergraduate Core Curriculum is to be followed for completion of general requirements.
- General requirements may not be used to meet any other degree requirements.
- Students pursuing degrees with Major Thematic Concentrations in Group I, II, or III must complete 6 hours of one foreign language, either as elective hours or as part of a concentration.
Thematic Concentration Group:
- Major Concentration Group 30 hrs.
- Secondary Concentration Group 12 hrs.

GROUP 3 (SOCIAL SCIENCES)
Criminal Justice, Economics (1000-2099), Education, Geography, Gerontology, Kinesiology (professional courses only), Political Science, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology
GROUP 4 (BUSINESS)
Accounting, Agribusiness, Business, Computer Information Systems, Economics (3000-4099), Finance, Management, Marketing, Risk Management and Insurance, Quantitative Methods
AACSB accreditation requirements limit College of Business Administration credits which may be applied toward graduation in General Studies Curricula to 15 semester hours for the Associate degree and 30 semester hours for the Bachelor degree.
