Beginning with the 2010 fall semester, a Master’s of Music degree is no longer offered. Students currently pursuing a graduate degree in Music are bound by the regulations and requirements outlined in the catalog during the semester of their entrance into the program. Graduate courses remain available for students working towards this degree.

Specialization Areas
Areas of specialization available include Conducting, Music Education, Performance, and Theory/Composition.

The university is a member in good standing of the National Association of Schools of Music.

Graduate Courses
Note: To receive graduate credit for a course designated ‘For Undergraduates and Graduates,’ a student must be in graduate admission status at the time credit is earned in the course. Credit earned in undergraduate admission status cannot be changed to graduate credit.
