The Art Program offers the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration selected from Art Education, Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design, and Painting.

Art majors are formally admitted to the BFA program following successful completion of the first ART 3000 Portfolio review. The BFA requires a minimum of 81 credit hours in art with 30 hours of general art/foundation and 12 hours in art history. Studio Art concentrations which include Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design, or Painting will complete 24 hours in art concentration and 12 hours of art electives and the Art Education Concentration will complete 36 hours in art concentration. The BFA also requires 39 hours in general education core classes.

The mission of the Music Program at the University of Louisiana at Monroe is to educate students in music and music education; to offer liberal arts performance and classroom opportunities to all students, and to develop and provide musical events, performances, workshops and activities for all people within the region. The Music Program also provides many opportunities for students who were in high school performing groups and are majoring in other disciplines, to participate in University music performance organizations based upon their interests and abilities.

The mission of the Theatre and Dance Program is to provide a balanced student-centered program of professional and pre-professional instruction as well as participatory opportunities for all students and area citizens regardless of interest or professional aspirations. Theatre and Dance at ULM presents performances, workshops, and events for the general public throughout the region to improve the cultural community as a whole.
