COMM 5053 - Rhetoric of Social Movements (3 Cr.) Understanding and analyzing social movements that seek to create social and/or political change, using primary texts from social movements as well as rhetorical scholarship that analyses social movements. Examines discourses and images used for gaining compliance, changing attitudes/behaviors, inspiring action, and creating social change. Prerequisites: Graduate Status.
