LIBR 5002 - Library Reference Materials

(3 Cr.) Introduction to principles and methods of reference work with emphasis on characteristics of basic and specialized reference sources; assessing new technologies for retrieval of information; teaching use of the reference materials; and clinical experiences. Prerequisites: Junior level or Consent of Instructor.
For graduate credit, a valid Louisiana teaching certificate, or equivalent, or written permission from Certification Coordinator.
