CHEM 1007 - General Chemistry I


3 cr.

A course in modern chemistry theories and principles; quantitative approach and problem solving; descriptive chemistry of selected elements and compounds.

Three hours of lecture and one hour of recitation.
Prerequisite(s): “C” or better in MATH 1011  or MATH 1013 , or equivalent, or eligibility for MATH 1013 , and completion of a Chemistry Placement Exam.
