BIOL 4040 - Taxonomy of Vascular Plants

(4 Cr.) Characteristics of plant families are emphasized. This includes classification systems and emphasis on primitive and advanced characteristics. Most of the lab is devoted to identification of plants by using keys from plant identification manuals. Prerequisites: 2004 Two hours lecture and four hours laboratory.
