Art B.F.A.


The Division of Art offers the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration selected from Art Education, Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design, Painting, and Printmaking.

Art majors are formally admitted to the BFA program following successful completion of the first ART 3000 - Portfolio  review. The BFA requires a minimum of 81 credit hours in art with 30 hours of general art/foundation and 12 hours in art history. Studio Art concentrations which include Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design, Painting, or Printmaking will complete 24 hours in art concentration and 15 hours of art electives and the Art Education Concentration will complete 36 hours in art concentration. The BFA also requires 39 hours in general education core classes.

Additional Information:


A total of 78 semester hours in art is required with a grade of “C” or better in each course.
