BIOL 1006 - What is Infectious Disease?


3 cr.

Through lectures, readings, in-class discussions, demonstrations and simulations students will gain an understanding of infectious diseases, both past and present. Students will be introduced to the basic science of bacterial, viral, protozoan, fungal, prion, and helminth infections.

Prerequisite(s): Non-Biology major only.
