NURS 3015 - Adult Health Nursing 1: LPN to BSN

This is a combined theory/clinical course for licensed practical nurses (LPN) that focuses on safe patient-centered care for adults with acute and chronic diseases. This course is designed to integrate concepts related to commonly occurring health issues in individuals and their designees. The course will allow the student to provide care to one or two adult patients in a variety of settings.

Prerequisite(s): NURS 2002, NURS 2004, NURS 2011, NURS 2013, NURS 2080. Credit or registration in NURS 3016, NURS 3010, NURS 3011, current Practical Nurse Licensure in Louisiana and one year of acute or long-term care experience.
