Physiological changes and problems during artificial ripening, storage and movement of plant materials. Emphasis placed on maintenance and extension of shelf life in relation to changes in the environment.

Three hours lecture and two hours laboratory.
Prerequisite(s): AGRI 1001 or AGRI 1003.
