CMST 4004 - Intercultural Communication

(3 Cr.) International perspective on communication between members of different cultures. Verbal and nonverbal code systems, social organization patterns, values, and belief systems examined as they impact the sharing of meaning. Special attention given to Health Care, Business, and Education contexts. Prerequisites: Communication Studies 1001, or 1018, or permission of instructor. May not be used as a substitute for a foreign language.
